Code of ethics

THE GROUP

On 18 October 2012, the Board of Directors deliberated the approval of this Ethical Code. It defines and identifies the ethical values and principles of Riva France, and the legal rules it has to comply with.
These values and principles must inspire and guide the behavior of everyone working with the Company: employees, consultants, subcontractors, in compliance with the principles of the French Constitution, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Agreement of the Human Rights.

The Ethical Code is also an essential element of the organization, management and control model.
The Riva Group in France carries out its steel activity both on the national, European and international market, as a subsidiary of Riva Forni Elettrici, the major steel producer in the world.
The Company has been operating for years in an international competitive context. It has won the respect of both customers and other actors in the same field, through its indisputable and recognized professionalism. The Group has to relentlessly consolidate and improve this image of itself in the permanent effort to face appropriately the increasingly demanding expectations of the market.
Consequently, one on the major commitments that the Company wants to take towards itself but also towards all the people who work for it, is the respect for the highest levels of integrity and honesty. These values have always marked its industrial and commercial activity.

Since October 2017, the Company has named a Compliance Committee to guarantee the correct application of the principles of the ethical code to all its employees and all the parties involved
Beyond ethical principles, every employee is energetically involved in respecting everyone’s rights.
The Riva Group strongly supports the application of this code for anyone who works with it.
