The Group annually implement a considerable investment program, with the aim of improving the qualitative aspects of products and processes, the safety conditions in the factories and the environmental compatibility of production.
The Group operates in several production sectors, such as mechanical, automotive and earthmoving fields, that require particularly high quality standards.
The Group also produces wire, peeled and rectified products, achieved by the processing of cold- rolled products.
Founded in 1954 by Emilio Riva, a pioneer of the steel industry in Italy in the post-war period, the Group specialized in the production of ‘long’ products using electric arc furnaces. During 60 years of activity, he has become an internationally recognized industry leader. He has established himself in the main European countries, thanks to its high production standards and by pursuing a constant policy of growth and investments.
In June 2014, Claudio Riva succeeded the head of the group, whose capital is entirely private and whose stuff is around 5.300 people, especially young graduates. At present Riva counts production sites situated in these countries: Italy, France, Germany, Belgium, Spain and Canada.
